All those explosions and vibrations people on the Bruce Peninsula have been talking about, are real.
Bayshore Broadcasting news has learned that some 5 thousand soldiers, airmen, sailors and marines are involved in military exercises at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Centre in northern Michigan.
Exercise Northern Strike involves military units from the U.S., the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.
It involves fighter jets, cargo planes, and helicopters.
There are live fire exercises involving small arms, mortars, artillery and aerial munitions at the Lake Huron water range.
U.S. military officials say the exercises will go on until August 18th.
A few days ago, several people reported vibrations and explosions on the Bruce Peninsula.
Bayshore Broadcasting news confirmed at that time, that there was no earthquake activity involved.
