Regional | by Fadi Didi

Border official says pot workers will not be recognized as legal business along U-S border.

Heads up, if you are seeking work in the marijuana industry.

A senior U-S border official says you could face a lifetime ban from the country if you work or invest in the pot sector, or have admitted to using pot.

Despite the fact marijuana will be legalized October 17th, U-S border agents will still see pot workers as traffickers of illegal drugs.

Todd Owen, executive assistant commissioner for the Office of Field Operations at Customs and Border Protection, says pot industry workers will not be recognized as a legal business.
