Former owner Jason Thom says two men will take over in a joint venture.

Sauble Speedway has been sold, with two men taking over in a joint venture.

Jason Thom has owned the race track for 8 years but says it has been a hobby and he needs to focus on his job.

The new owners heading into the 2017 racing season are Paul Gresel and Mark Dilley.

Gresel owns Sauble Falls Trailer Park, while Dilley has been Sunset Speedway’s General Manager the past six years.

In a news release Friday, Dilley says they know it is no easy task and it will basically be save what we can for 2017 race season.

He says they will make as many upgrades over the season as possible and look forward to a big and fresh 2018.

The track will host a pre-season drivers meeting next Sunday, May 28th at 2pm in the Sauble Community Center to talk about this season, and beyond.
