The field is set for the richest race of the year in the county.
The annual $ 100,000 Dream of Glory Final is set for Saturday night at Hanover Raceway.
The field of 8 was determined last Saturday when the 4 elimination races were staged.
The winner and second place finisher in each elimination garnered a spot in the Dream of Glory Final this Saturday.
The races last Saturday couldn't have been more different in nature.
In the first division, Steve Byron ran away from the field with " Augusto " for a one sided victory.
" PC Troubadour " for the Clements stable at Dobbinton was second and also advanced to the Final.
Meanwhile in the final elimination race, Per Henriksen avoided all the early chaos and rolled in with " Bacio Hanover ".
Five of the 7 horses in that field broke, which allowed Randy Fritz to take " Last Strike " to the line second and also gain a spot in the big race Saturday.
Fritz, who won the Dream of Glory last year with " Random Solution ", has a dilemma; he also qualified for this week's final with " Lukas Rossi. "
Rounding out the field for Saturday are Paul Walker with " Anahar Buster ", Trevor Henry with " Tymal Eldorado " and Rita Rekila who will drive " B Cor Tanya ".
