Leaf Alumni & OMHA Game 6

By Fred Wallace

Hi, this is Fred Wallace with " Off the Wire. "

It's a special night and a BIG night for hockey in Owen Sound.

First of all, the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni will meet the Wild Wellness Warriors  tonight at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Centre.

The Canadian Mental Health Association-Grey Bruce Mental Health & Addiction Services + Barry's Construction are presenting the contest which will feature former Leaf captain Wendel Clark among others.

The game which starts at 7 will support the Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce Mental Health & Addiction services, which is significant.

That's at the Bayshore.

With no offence to the CMHA or the former Leafs, the BIGGER game tonight is at the Julie McArthur Regional Rec Centre.

Game 6 in the OMHA Bantam Semifinals will see the Owen Sound Kunkel Bus Lines Attack host the St Thomas Stars.

The Attack Busmen won Game 1 4-2

The Stars won Games 2 & 3, 3-0 & 4-1

The Junior Attack stayed alive with a 3-2 win in Game 4

....and Game 5, the deciding game, finished in a 2-2 tie which sets up the game tonight at 7:15 pm at the Rec Centre.

Leaf Alumni for Mental Health or the deciding game for the Kunkel Bus Lines Bantam Attack in their OMHA series with St Thomas.

It's a special night and a BIG night for hockey in Owen Sound.

I'm Fred Wallace
